The app used in this video to record your screen is called ScreenFlow. It is a Mac only software, however there is an equivalent I like for PC that's virtually the same called Camtasia Studios.

What if, I’ve recorded my video, and want to add text to the beginning? I want a sort of black backdrop, and then words will apear. After that, the video will play.

great job. im curious how to put pop up or text popups to someone elses videos the let others know its a lie and to expose the truth. I have seen someone take a heartfelt, video and some one else has put bogus pop up text on it to mock it, how is this done do I have to download their video and then make it mine to do that? is this legal? to edit someone else youtube video
